Children with cerebral palsy and their parents live with unique and difficult problems to overcome with on a daily basis. The nature of the condition can mean simple things such as eating, using the toilet, and sitting up in a chair, present challenges which parents of able bodied children might take for granted. As a parent of a disabled child this can be a great cause of frustration. Gaining newfound independence is part of reaching milestones for young children that both they and their parents can celebrate.
